Donations:
Catholic Workers live a simple lifestyle in community, serve the poor, and resist war and social injustice. Each Catholic Worker house is independent and there is no ''Catholic Worker headquarters''. Every Catholic Worker house can use donations of money and/or specific items like food and clothing. Most can also use volunteers from the surrounding community to help with the work. If you feel called to do something about poverty and homelessness in your community, your local Catholic Worker house would be a great place to start.
Mary House depends on the generous contributions of the public. Donations to Mary House Catholic Worker of Austin, Inc. can be made by sending a check to the address listed on our Contact page. We will then send you an acknowledgement in the mail for tax purposes.
Even the smallest amount can be used to help an individual regain the confidence and self respect which leads to success.
